Summary:

The most battle hardened veterans of the expedition formed an alliance and designated themselves the "leader" of the now defunct journey. Although there were many objections, there was nobody powerful enough to challenge their decision. They formed The Institution, a government meant to be imposed upon all the other citizens in the new galaxy. It ran efficiently and became very powerful. Now that internal affairs have been dealt with, they are dedicated to researching new technologies to bring the "rebel" leaders into the fold.

Summary:

When relics of the great Crimson Moon Accord were found in the new galaxy, a group of humans were tasked with researching the great ruins. As there were no members from the CMA on board the expedition, there was nobody from the ancient race to help decode the meanings behind many of the mysterious artifacts found. However, the worshipers and followers of this ambigious race grew very strong, and they became infatuated with the idea of making the Crimson Moon culture a great power once again. Now it is their mission to keep safe the secrets and treasures they have found, and finding a way to activate them.

Summary:

After The Institution siezed power a band of warriors fled and hid despite attempts to track down and capture them. Although The Institution is their main adversary, they are against any political structure that is counter to their own ideas. Frequent power struggles within the faction are not entirely uncommon, and assinations and powershifts are routine. Causing power imbalance and conducting raids on whoever happens to be the most opportune target is the mission objective of The Underground.
