Archpanda Centy's 3rd Person Log
H4 Universe

At first glace, the Pandaemonium appears nothing more than a haphazard bamboo jungle. However, on closer inspection, it is possible to discern that the maze of intricately connected shoots and leaves, and sprawling network of carefully engineered structures forms the command center of the Archpandate. It is in this complex, the Pandaemonium, where important administrative decisions are made by the enlightened Archpanda Centy. It also happens to be his private residence.
Being a former Carebear, the main priority for Centy has always been the happiness and well-being of his population. At virtually every colony, one can find state of the art hospitals and entertainment facilities. However, at the back of his mind was a nagging ambition, a burning desire, a perennial longing: to reclaim the former glory of the once great First Archpandate and resurrect its lost power.
So even Centy could not overlook the irony that his Second Archpandate was a constituent part of the Empire of Vote Robot Nixon, itself aligned to the Institution Faction. The very faction (with help from the Gaians) that had caused the demise of the original Archpandate in a parallel universe now known as H1. In the aftermath of that bitter struggle, a fleet of trans-dimensional colony ships was commissioned, which ferried Centy and the lucky survivors into dimensional limbo. For years, the chosen few wandered a no-man's land in the fabric of time and space, witnessing new instances of their historic universe, before finally arriving in the semi-parallel H4 universe, where the evacuees established their home colony. It was here, that the Pandaemonium was rebuilt, shortly afterwards.
During his time in the planar netherworld, Centy had decided who was to blame for the downfall of the First Archpandate: Unitos. Once a loyal follower of the Church of Unitology, the Archpanda felt betrayed and as his first Archpandal Decree in the new universe, Centy forbid any worship of the false god throughout his colonies. But there were more pressing issues to deal with first. Centy soon realised he had arrived late to this universe and although saving hundreds of thousands of sentient pandas from the original Archpandate was no small feat, they were still an endangered species. Somehow he had to boost the population. But given the rather apathetic approach to reproduction pandas are so infamous for, this would not be easy.
The solution came from Centy's fellow rulers in the Vote Robot Nixon Empire: hookers. Lots and lots of hookers. Together with a further Archpandal Decree prohibiting the use of contraceptives, the Second Archpandate was soon booming, its economy flourishing and its science thriving.
In fact, it was all going so well, Centy had put thoughts of unleashing furious vengenace on the ardent followers of Unitos (which for some bizarre reason in this universe was the Crimson Nations and not the Church of Unitology - Centy put this down to the multiuniversal Curse of Apache) firmly to back of his agenda. Having achieved all this without a single use of military force had been a revelation.
But then on that dark day, 21/08/2675, there was the dreaded 2 am call. Reports that a notorious outcast and nuisance, the self-proclaimed "Emperor" Kisa, had annihilated an unarmed probe in a system in Institution space. Centy greeted the news with his usual insight.
"Typical. Such a thoughtless unwarranted act of aggression. But, what can you expect from such a feral mind? I see it's a rather overcompensating fleet, there's no way he is self-supporting. Follow the money, who's bankrolling him, who's his pimp?"
Vicepanda Zoe instantly responded. "We believe he has strong links with the Underground, presumably that is where their credits are coming from."
"Hmmm, are they linked with the Unitology?"
"No. They appear to be more closely aligned to the Church of the Subterranian Llama."
"Llamas?! Oh my... well, initiate the military branch. Things just got a little less cuddly."
"Yes, your Pandaness."
"Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in."
